“Stars for the Future” is an Olympic Weightlifting club in west London which is a part of the West London Academy club supported by BWL (British Weight Lifting). Ealing team and main training gym is in Perivale Part Athletics Track gym, but the elite athlete from youth clubs will be invited to St Mary’s University in Twickenham and weekly squads for chosen lifters in four different boroughs.

The youth club is open to males and females who are under 19 years old also a sesson for adults is running twice a week , Monday in Barnhill high school and Sunday at Perivale track.

Those people who are interested in gaining strength, flexib ility, speed, all around fitness, and conditioning. The club fully prepares young lifters to compete in school championships in different age categories such as under 13s and under 17s as well as junior regional and national BWL competitions.

The sessions are not only designed to teach weightlifting, they can also be used by those who wish to just power lift. Alternatively, users can choose to learn to use the weights and learn the techniques and right methods for an all round fitness workout. You do not need any previous experience to join in the sessions as all ages, shapes, and sizes are welcome. |
